The maker kindly confirms that that gun was built in 1896 and that it was subsequently re-barrelled in 1979.

The gun incorporates Anson patent ejector work, patent no. 15299 of 1884. The single extractor automatically springs back when the gun is opened, the extractor having hinged clips that automatically retain any unfired cartridges and prevent their release from the gun.
