30-inch Whitworth steel barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers, about 3/4 and full choke borings, mid extension, the scroll-backed frame and top lever with game scene engraving, surrounded by bold foliate scrollwork and retaining traces of original hardening colour, arcaded fences, 14-inch highly figured stock with ribbed horn butt plate, 6lb. 7oz., recent nitro re-proof, bores pitted, fore-end wood repaired
The gun is of very high quality, but was typical of this Newscastle maker.
