29-inch barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers about improved cylinder and 1/4 choke borings, top extensions, the rounded frames and gold numbered top levers with fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining all of their renewed hardening colour, 14 1/2-inch highly figured stocks, in their brass bound oak and leather case, 6lb. 6oz., nitro proof
The maker confirms that the guns were completed in 1904 and 1907 respectively, for George Younger. The guns have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and remain unused since. |
