27-inch replacement chopper-lump barrels by the maker with 2 3/4-inch chambers, about improved cylinder and 1/4 choke borings, the frames, hand detachable locks and gold numbered top levers with acanthus scroll engraving, patent single trigger, gold lined cocking indicators and rolled edge trigger guards, 14 3/4-inch well figured stocks with semi pistol grip and rubber recoil pads, each inlaid with two gold escutcheons, 6lb. 9oz., nitro proof, No.2 gun barrel wall thickness below the recommended minimum, in their leather case with later Holland & Holland label

The maker confirms that the guns were built in 1932 as a set of three "Royal Brevis" self-opening guns. The replacement barrels were fitted by the maker in 1980. |
