A 12-BORE "G ROYAL" GRADE FACILE PRINCEPS BOXLOCK EJECTOR GUN, NO. 49037, BUILT FOR THE 1900 PARIS EXPOSITION

27-inch damascus barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers, about 1/4 and full choke borings, crossbolt extension and engraved breeches, the lined rib engraved with London and Paris addresses, 'Winner at the London Gun Trials 1875 to 1891', the scroll-back frame with bolstered arcaded fences and engraved with fine scrollwork surrounding scenes of dog and game in landscapes, retaining some original hardening colour, the top lever inlaid with a crown, 14 1/2-inch highly figured stock including leather-covered recoil pad, 6lb. 6oz., nitro re-proof, in its maker's brassbound leather case
