30-inch barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers, about true cylinder and 1/2 choke borings, polished frame with border engraving, 13 5/8-inch stock including 1/2-inch ebonite extension, 6lb. 7oz., nitro proof, bores pitted
The gun is fitted with a pair of Whitworth steel chopper-lump barrels by J. Purdey & Sons. However, these barrels were originally built for a sidelock ejector gun and have no relation to the action of the gun to which they have now been fitted. |
