The gun was imported and sold at Christie's in 1999 and was proofed upon import in London, the chamber length marking indicating 2 1/2-inch chambers, although the breech of the barrels indicates a 2 3/4-inch chamber. The chamber length actually measures 2 5/8-inches and was therefore correctly marked by the London Proof House. |
