28-inch damascus barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers, about 1/2 and improved cylinder borings, doll's head extension, the frame and patent top lever with fine foliate scroll engraving and retaining traces of original hardening colour, the fences carved with leaves, 14 1/4-inch semi cutaway stock with semi pistol grip and engraved heel and toe plates, half length fore-end, 5lb. 10oz., nitro re-proof
The gun incorporates Anson patent ejector work, patent no. 15299 of 1884. The single extractor automatically springs back when the gun is opened, the extractor having hinged clips that automatically retain any unfired cartridges and prevent their release from the gun. |
