The collection of 8 rifles, numbered H100001 through H100008, were built in 1976 and were offered by Weatherby as a set for sale by Private Treaty. Representing a milestone in Weatherby rifle production, this unique set of rifles includes examples of all 8 Weatherby magnum calibres that were offered on the Weatherby Mark V action. The rifles remain new and unused, retaining all of their original finish, with just minor handling marks, maker's tags and instruction booklets. The rifles were purchased by Private Treaty direct from Weatherby in 1977, the final sum for these rifles paid was $33,265. The collection is sold with the copy of the original maker's invoice and letters about the rifles.
