28-inch chopper-lump barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers about 1/2 and full choke borings, file cut narrow Churchill rib, mid extensions, the frames, locks and gold numbered top levers with bold acanthus scroll engraving and retaining virtually all their original hardening colour, the action bases engraved with the Imperial crown, 14 3/4-inch highly figured stock, 6lb. 9oz., nitro proof, in their maker's lightweight leather "VC" case, No. 2 gun left bore dented
The maker confirms that the guns were built in 1963. The guns appear little used and retain virtually all of their original finish. |
