28-inch choper-lump barresl wtih 2 3/4-inch chambers about 1/4 and 3/4 choke borings, mid extension, matted rib, the frame and hand detachable lock with fine acanthus scroll engraving and retaining virtually all of its original hardening colour, gold lined cocking indicators, Miller single trigger, rolled edge trigger guard, 14 3/4-inch well figured stock including leather covered recoil pad, in its maker's lightweight leather case with maker's turnscrews, accessories, etc, 7lb. 4oz., nitro proof

The maker confirms that the gun was built in 1961 for the famous American outdoorsman and competition shot, Russell B. Aitken. The gun was built with double triggers and was converted to Miller single trigger for Mr Aitken and was used for live pigeon shooting at Barcelona. It retains virtually all of its original finish.
