28-inch chopper-lump barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers about 1/4 and 3/4 choke borings, file cut Churchill rib, the frames, hand detachable locks and gold numbered top levers profusely engraved with floral bouquets, flowing ribbons and scrollwork, retaining all of their original hardening colour, gold lined cocking indicators, rolled edge trigger guards, 15-inch highly figured stocks, 6lb. 13oz., Spanish nitro proof, in their maker's English lightweight leather motor case
The guns were completed in 1992 and presented as a competition prize in a BASC Prize Draw. The guns remain unused. The guns are stocked with the very best quality timber and are finished in the style of the "XXV" model. However, the guns are especially unusual as they have 28-inch barrels. |
