A RARE 12-BORE SIDE LEVER HAMMER EJECTOR GUN, NO. 122
30-inch barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers, about improved cylinder and 1/4 choke borings, the machined rib engraved "G. Jeffries, Norwich, Jeffries' Patent Ejector", the rounded frame, rebounding back locks, hammers and left-handed side lever with fine scroll engraving and retaining traces of original hardening colour, grip safety, 14 3/4-inch figured stock with ribbed butt plate, 6lb. 14oz., nitro re-proof, leather case, barrel wall thickness slightly below the recommended minimum
The gun conforms to Patent Specification 7895 of 1885 and production of this style of ejector work must have been very brief as a greatly simplified mechanism was also patented by this maker in 1886.
