AN EARLY BELGIAN 12-BORE "SUPER-POSED" B25 OVER AND UNDER EJECTOR GUN, NO. 69

30-inch monobloc barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers, about 1/4 and full choke borings, semi ventilated machined non-crossfire rib, the barrel signed "Browning Arms Company, Ogden, Utah, 12GA Special Steel", one-piece fore-end with horseshoe retainer, the frame and top lever with border engraving and impressed with the serial number 69 on the top strap, 'FN' engraved on the top lever, non-automatic safety catch, 14 1/4-inch well figured stock with semi pistol grip and perished rubber recoil pad, 7lb 12oz., Belgian nitro proof, bores pitted

The gun was built circa 1931 and is typical of other early examples of the Browning 'Super-posed" that we have seen. Gun serial number 6 was sold in these rooms in 2023 and serial number 20 in 2006.
