COLT A SCARCE .45 BOXER LONG GRIP FLAT TOP SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER, NO. 129591 7 1/2-inch barrel with address Depot 14, Pall Mall, London, the black powder frame with three line patent dates to 1875, the trigger guard marked .45 Cal B, cylinder loading gate and ejector rod, retaining some original finish overall, long hard rubber chequered grips, contemporary London black powder proof, mechanism slightly defective, some screws replaced, in its leather holster
It is thought that as few as 50 of the long grip model were made. They are thought all to have been shipped to Colt's London agency. This example appears to be from an early batch shipped in 1889.
