The rifle was built in 1997 and is the only .500 calibre rifle that Medwell & Perrett built. The rifle was re-stocked by George Gibbs Ltd in 2004 and the original stock is included with the rifle. The vendor states that he shot several elephant with this rifle and that he had it re-stocked because excess weight and geometry made it uncomfortable to shoot. He states that it is now very comfortable to use and shoots very accurately with Kynamco and Westley Richards ammunition. |
