29-inch replacement chopper-lump barrels by the maker, nos. 10259/60, with 2 3/4-inch chambers, about 1/4 and 1/2 and 1/2 and 3/4 choke borings respectively, the frames, locks and gold numbered top levers with fine bouquet and scroll engraving and retaining some original hardening colour, rolled edge trigger guards, 15 1/4-inch highly figured replacement stocks including rubber recoil pads, 7lb. 2oz. and 7lb. 4oz. respectively, in their maker's oak and leather case with accessories, etc

The maker's records confirm that the guns were built circa 1928. The guns were re-barrelled and re-stocked by Boss & Co. in 2006 and fitted to their current case. |
