28-inch chopper-lump barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers, shortened and with about true cylinder borings, the frames, locks and gold numbered top levers with fine acanthus scroll engraving and retaining much original hardening colour, gold lined cocking indicators, Holland & Holland patent single triggers, 14 1/2-inch well figured stocks with slightly swept combs, 6lb. 5oz., nitro proof, in their maker's brassbound oak and leather case
The maker confirms that the guns were built in 1904 with 30-inch barrels, that they were subsequently shortened to 28-inches and that they were re-stocked by them for the current owner.
