THE MAJOR PARTS OF A C QUALITY HAMMER RIFLE, NO. 15320

27-inch barrels with file cut full length rib and engraved breach ends, rear sight and extractor missing, the polished frame, bolted re-bounding backlocks, hammers and rotary under lever with scrolling foliage decoration, replacement stock with pistol grip and rubber recoil pad, worn overall, 14 1/2-inch pull

The maker confirms that the rifle was origianlly built in circa 1895. It appears to have been subsequently re-bored as a 12 bore shotgun and finally has been sleeved full length in approximately .577 rifle. The chambers are uncut and the rifle remains unfinished in this state.
