24 1/2-inch barrel with ramp fore sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 200, receiver with flag safety, detachable box magazine, the half length stock with pistol grip and chequered butt plate, 14-inch pull, 6lb. 15oz., German nitro proof

The rifle was formerly the property of Lord Shawcross, the Attorney General, who was the chief prosecutor at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trial in 1946 and led for the prosecution at several other famous trials, notably that of William Joyce (Lord Haw-Haw).
