30-inch blacked damascus barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers about true cylinder borings, the frame, sliding top lever, non-bounding hammers and locks with fine border and scroll engraving, retaining traces of hardening colour, hammers with self-retracting strikers, 14 1/2-inch well figured stock with engraved steel butt plate, 7lb. 2oz., black powder proof, bores pitted

The gun incorporates two of Horsley's best known patents, namely the "top lever no. 2410" and "the retracting strikers no. 1138"
