of commercial manufacture, the 4-inch barrel with maker's name to top surface and impressed on the right "Made in England", SAP impressed in front of the cylinder, the frame with winged bullet trademark, stirrup catch and lanyard loop, chequered composition grip, contemporary nitro proof, retaining most of its original finish overall
The revolver is of post WWI manufacture for the South African police.
