23 1/2-inch replacement barrel with ramp fore sight and folding Express sights, the receiver mounted with a Hensoldt 4x telescopic sight, the bolt with flag safety and folding peep sight, the tang with additional peep sight, rotary magazine, double set triggers, the three-quarter length stock with pistol grip and cheekpiece, ribbed steel butt plate, 14-inch pull, toe damaged and repaired, 9lb. 2oz., nitro proof, full length canvas case with Purdey label and its original telescopic sight

James Purdey & Sons confirm that they retailed the rifle in 1910. It was originally a full-stocked Stutzen carbine and the replacement barrel is of full rifle length. Consequently the case has been crudely adapted to accommodate the rifle in its current configuration.
