26-inch barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers, about 1/2 and 3/4 choke borings, blacked top rib, the frame, locks and top lever with fine bouquet and scroll engraving and retaining virtually all of its original hardening colour, arcaded fences, gold lined cocking indicators, 13 1/4-inch well figured stock including leather covered recoil pad, 5lb. 13oz., nitro proof, in its brassbound oak and leather case with canvas outer cover containing the full complement of original tools and accessories, including spare main springs

The gun is sold with a fascinating file of correspondence relating to the ordering of the gun: the first letter of initial enquiry dated November 1935; the original invoice dated July 15th 1936; a receipt for £160 11s 6d dated September 1936; the final letter dated November 27th 1936.
