The maker confirms that the rifle was built in May 1911 for H. F. Wallace with .350 "Mauser Sporting Magnum", two traps, 24-inch barrel. The rifle was built for Wallace to take with him to China in 1911. Writing about the expedition in later years, he commented, "good rifles to take are a .275 Rigby Mauser and a .350 Magnum". |
