ROBERTS & SON, A THREE BARREL SET 29 1/2-inch chopper-lump barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers about 3/4 and full choke borings, the 28-inch barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers about 1/4 and 1/2 choke borings, the 26-inch barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers about 1/4 and 1/2 choke borings, (26-inch barrels with Churchill rib), the frame, hand detachable lock and top lever with acanthus scroll engraving, the maker's name signed within an arched banner, clipped fences, articulated front trigger, gold lined cocking indicators, rolled edge trigger guard, 14 1/4-inch well figured stock with semi pistol grip, cast-on for the left shoulder, interchangeable beaver-tail fore-end, 6lb. 12oz., Spanish nitro proof, in its fitted leather case with John Rigby label and leather covered recoil pad to fit this gun S2 The gun was originally built for the right shoulder and the stock should easily return to its original measurement. |
