29-inch Whitworth steel chopper-lump barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers about improved cylinder and 1/4 choke borings, the frames, locks and gold numbered top levers with finest bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining most of their original hardening colour, gold lined cocking indicators, rolled edge trigger guard, 14 1/8-inch highly figured stocks, 6lb. 12oz., nitro proof, in their brassbound oak and leather case with canvas outer cover
The maker confirms that the guns were built in 1927 and conform to their original dimensions. The guns are of the very highest quality and retain a high degree of their original finish. They appear relatively little used and display the very finest of Jack Sumner's engraving for Boss at this period. |
