The original invoice, dated 18 October 1946, is accompanied by its order form issued by HQ Civil Affairs, British Element to Major Dorrity, dated November 1946. It was common for British Army officers stationed in Austria to be permitted to buy locally manufactured sporting guns for their own use. |
