29 1/2-inch barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers about 1/2 and 3/4 choke borings, rounded solid rib, the lightweight rounded titanium frame profusely engraved with delicate foliate scrollwork against a stippled ground, signed by the engraver A. Sardini, the hand detachable trigger block with true sidelock mechanism, the bridle and intercepting spears engraved with foliate scrolls, 15-inch highly figured stock with pistol grip and chequered butt plate, 6lb. 8oz., Italian nitro proof, in its maker's case
The guns was completed in 2006 and remain virtually unused. This gun is believed to be a prototype of the revolutionary "Poseidon" model, being the first gun to incorporate a true sidelock design within a detachable trigger plate. |
