25 1/2-inch Whitworth steel barrels with matted ramp foresight, matted short raised rib with folding leaf sights, top extension, the bolstered frame with locks with fine bouquet and scroll engraving, clipped fences, lined cocking indicators, bolted safety catch, 14 1/4-inch well figured stock with pistol grip, cheek piece and rubber recoil pad, sling swivels, nitro proof, in its brass bound oak and leather case, 10lb. 3oz.
The makers confirm that the rifle was built in 1925. It has subsequently been rebored as a .416. |
